New Workgroup focusing “Future Mobility”

Having already addressed the topic of Future Mobility in many projects – battery casings, hydrogen pressure vessels or tailgates – and previous workgroups, we are launching a new one, dedicated to this topic in April. This workgroup will focus on upcoming trends and developments in the mobility of tomorrow. The goal is to emphasize the potential for composite materials and multi-material solutions as well as pick up insightful solutions and products for this market, whether it is electric vehicles, urban air mobility or e-bikes, or whether it is thermoset, thermoplastic or multi material composite solutions.

The workgroup on Future Mobility was established based on the feedback received at the Annual Partner Meeting 2023 along with the other new AZL workgroup “Circular Design and Production” which focuses on the environmental impact and the challenges of overcoming it.

After a very successful start of the “Circular Design and Production” workgroup at the end of January, registration is still open for the 1st session of “Future Mobility” on April 10th, 2024.

Working on future mobility solutions? Present your innovative approach in a short 5-minute pitch during the workgroup in April. Whether electric vehicles, urban air mobility or e-bikes, or whether you specialize in thermoset, thermoplastic or multi material composite solutions, we invite you to present your insights and products for the mobility of tomorrow. Get in touch and secure your spot now!

Already interested? Why not extend your visit to Aachen and attend this year’s AZL Open Day on April 11th, 2024? Participants will get an exclusive first hand insight into the R&D landscape and the extensive know how in the field of lightweight and composite technology on the RWTH Aachen Campus during guided tours through AZL’s partner institutes.
