We are looking back on our 10 th anniversary at the AZL Annual Partner Meeting at the Aachen Football Stadium „Tivoli“ from May 10th to 11 th.
The event was filled with knowledge, exchange and networking opportunities. At the speed dating sessions the partner companies had the chance to share their news, projects and collaboration ideas with each other. Besides, we had some inspiring keynote presentations:
- „Research and Innovation Systematics for Advanced Production Technologies“ by Toyota Motor
Europe - „Building one of Europe´s largest Tech Incubator for Start-ups: An Aachen-based Co-Innovation Platform for Students, Researchers and Companies“ by Collective Incubator
- „Thermoplastic composites in aerospace; a green technology“ by GKN Fokker Aerostructures B.V.
- „Innovation Center for Small Aircraft Technologies in Aachen – A platform for developing nextgeneration aerospace technologies“ by DLR Innovation Center for Small Aircraft Technologies (INK)
This year a new feature was introduced – a small exhibition area where our Start-Up partner companies had the chance to showcase their products and technologies to the network.
In addition, the ongoing projects and workgroups were reviewed and a joint definition for future collaboration was developed. Through the feedback and discussion which was gathered at the APM, two new workgroups
have been created:
👉 „Circular Design & Production“ and „Future Mobility“ learn more about the new workgroups in this article.
A special highlight for our 10th anniversary at the annual Partner Meeting was the networking dinner at the Uptown Sky Lounge & Restaurant above the roofs of Aachen city.
