Team Lead Application Development Composites (m/f/d)
YOUR MISSION
Your mission is to develop advanced applications with Fiber Patch Placement technology and convert our customers into long-term FPP fans! You’ll lead an international team of highly skilled composite engineers, working with our in-house FPP systems and software, and interact closely with our customers and our technology teams to ensure our products match our customer expectations.
YOUR TASKS
- Lead our Application Development Team
- Manage the technical activities of composite projects (customer & R&D)
- Responsible for in-house FFP manufacturing of products and demonstrators
- Hands-on customer engineering support for best-practice FFP application
- Advance and optimize our engineering service portfolio
- Contribute to our strategic technology development, active input to product development
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree or similar in engineering (mechanical, lightweight design, aerospace or related)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fiber composite product development, manufacturing and CAD design
- Experience with aerospace part development & regulations; alternatively with composite tanks
- Hands-on mentality, customer-oriented and creative problem solver
- Team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility; experience in leading people a plus
- Fluent English language sklills, German skills are a plus
