Airborne is a Netherlands-based global market leading manufacturer of advanced automation and digitalisation equipment and solutions for composites. Its focus lies on the development and manufacturing of high-end composite components, at high production rates and radically low conversion costs. With over 20 years heritage in composites, Airborne is building up a suite of automated solutions for the manufacturing of composites with the aim to radically reduce costs and touch labour, minimize the footprint and use of material, and improve the time to market for their clients.
Airborne offers solutions in automation equipment and complete solutions for Industry 4.0, including automated honeycomb potting, automated kitting and automated lamination of thermosets and thermoplastics. In order to develop new business opportunities for the end-markets aerospace and automotive, and to see the latest development as well as be involved in cutting-edge developments, Airborne has recently become a member of AZL and will be actively supporting several workgroups. Furthermore, Airborne is commercially cooperating with AMAC to accelerate the process of locating suitable partnerships.

Airborne offers its customers a very flexible business model. Customers can either buy a machine, rent a machine, or outsource their ramp up production to Airborne as a tolling service.
