Technical Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Your main assignments will be: 

• Technical support of our composite materials (this includes e.g. solving of technical problems, assisting and supporting trials of European thermoplastic composites manufacturers, supporting research projects)
• Technical sales (e.g. giving technical explanations for new customers, giving presentations at conferences and exhibitions, giving market orientated training and technical training to third parties, organizing the supply of sample materials)
• Development of new markets / applications within Europe (e.g. frequent visits to potential customers and exhibitions, interpret customer needs/requirements and support the internal cross-functional collaborative process)
• Gather continuously relevant market information about new mobility market
• Co-operation with machine suppliers and universities (e.g. giving material and processing support for new machine and application developments)
• Co-operation with local R&D team for cross-divisional market developments

Your profile:

• Recently graduated (master’s degree) in mechanical engineering, process engineering or industrial engineering
• Experience in composite materials including polymer knowledge, ideally with thermoplastic matrices (e.g. tapes and laminates/sheets)
• Technical and commercial aptitude from identifying opportunities to positioning material solutions
• Ability to act and communicate effectively across functional, cultural and international boundaries
• Willingness to travel
• Good MS-Office Skills, preferably in power point presentations
• Business fluent German and English skills, both written and verbal
