HRC is a high-tech company specailizing in the development of advanced fiber composite solutions. HRC is equipped with latest state-of-the-art processing technologies for thermoset and thermoplastic based composites. The group works with its international team in locations in Asia and Europe in the fields of engineering, production, and research & development. To strengthen our European team, we are looking for new employees with main focus on R&D.
Main responsibilities:
Research & Development:
- Support ACTC management on strategic development
- Project planning and lead including HR and investment costs according to project timeline
- Project coordination with strategic R&D cooperation partners in Europe with focus on Germany
- Work together with different parties in R&D projects, like product design team, tooling team and others, to optimize the trial quality
- Support CBU from engineering side for business acquisition (e.g. lead technical assessment review) and promote the engineering capability of ACTC to the customers
- Transfer of R&D based knowledge into series production
- Benchmark and evaluation of existing composite concepts including patent situation
- Elaboration of market needs and OEM requirements
- Investigation and evaluation of relevant processing technologies and materials
- Development of processing routes and strategy for thermoplastic and thermosetting composites
- Development & optimization of business strategy based on HRC Group technologies and strategy
Business Development / Sales / Customer Support:
- Support of HRC Group BD including HRC, ACTC and Engenuity
- Support of Global Business Development (automotive)
- Lead and coordination of R&D related customer projects
- Technical and commercial support of projects, offers and orders (R&D related work packages)
- Supporting existing customers and attracting new customers with new technologies and solutions
Marketing, PR, Reputation:
- Representation of the company among customers, external sales organizations, and worldwide trade fairs
- Support of HRC Group reputation (HRC, ACTC, Engenuity)
Your Profile:
- Completed degree in Composite Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or Automotive Engineering (master’s degree or above is preferable)
- Very good communication skills, confident appearance, independent and goal-oriented way of working
- Negotiable German / English skills (written and spoken)
- Project experience with composite related industry is preferable
- Having basic skills of AutoCAD and/or CATIA to read technical drawings and to analyze the product
- Resilience, assertiveness, and a high degree of independence
- Having an intermediate to advanced level of practice in controlled processing of composite materials
- Having an advanced understanding in the science and engineering of composites manufacturing processes (thermoset & thermoplastic)
- Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Project management competence and implementation strength
- Sovereign communication at all levels of cooperation
- Willingness to travel
- Good interpersonal skills
- Result oriented
- Team player
- Sense of responsibility
