Meet us at COMPOSITES EUROPE 2016
From November 29th until December 1st, 2016, the AZL, in cooperation with the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV), will be part of the special exhibition areas “Industry meets Science” and “Lightweight Technologies Forum” at the Composites Europe 2016 in Düsseldorf – together with the nine partner institutes from the RWTH Aachen Campus. Main topics of AZL’s presentations will include the AZL Business Platforms and the new Joint Business Development activities:
In order to offer easy contact to established business partners, and to raise awareness and build trust in lightweight technologies, AZL has set up the so-called Business Platforms of different lightweight topics. These are websites which present lightweight business of the AZL Partner Companies, including services and products of the companies – a service included in the AZL Partnership. The websites are ready to be accessed here: “Thermoplastic Composites” and “High-Speed RTM”.
Furthermore, as part of AZL’s new Joint Business Development, AZL will start with new Partnership Services in the beginning of 2017. This serves to jointly support your business development, by addressing new regions and new markets for composite technologies, and to intensify the network collaboration by, i.e., co-working spaces on RWTH Aachen Campus. For the first year, these activities are targeting the automotive sector and Poland as a growing region for composites. Therefore, the Business Development highlight activities include a B2B executive networking event at the 67th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, guided tours at KOMPOZYT-EXPO in Krakow, or guided visits to your potential client or partner company in Poland.
Our research partner, the Aachen Center for Integrative Lightweight Production (AZL) of RWTH Aachen University will present their “OPTO-Light”, addressing the connection of fiber-reinforced thermoset and thermoplastic in large-scale production in the automotive industry. Furthermore, the AZL of RWTH Aachen University will present “iComposite 4.0” – a research project addressing economic serial-production of components made of fiber-reinforced plastics through increased resource efficiency. Both research projects are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
More than 350 exhibitors from 30 countries will present their innovations of the composite industry at the Düsseldorf Exhibition center. The AZL, at the Joint booth of the Institute of Plastics Processing (IKV), will be located at Hall 8a / A37.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the Composite Europe 2016!
