AZL Buildings and Infrastructure Workgroup meeting at the leading trade fair for architecture materials and systems, in Munich
The next meeting of the AZL Workgroup “Composites in Buildings & Infrastructure” is taking place at BAU 2019 in Munich to closely involve representatives of the building industry and to network with end-users and architects.
After a successful second workgroup meeting, the AZL is taking the next meeting directly to the source of new input and feedback, to the BAU 2019, world’s leading trade fair for architecture materials and systems, in Munich. The meeting will be a two-day event; a Workgroup Meeting and a Networking Event on January 15th -16th. We are starting with the workgroup meeting and a networking dinner in the center of Munich on the first day, and are ending on the second day with a joint visit on the fair to visit building companies and allow our partner companies to get in contact with end users and network.
During the meeting, AZL is drawing on its network and knowledge built up in the previous study identifying new potentials for composite technologies in buildings and infrastructure as well as on its latest started study addressing “Composites in the Furniture Industry”. In this new project, AZL and participating companies will be addressing how composites can be integrated in the furniture market. The previous and already completed joint market and technology study on “New Potentials for Composite Technologies in Buildings and Infrastructure” involved more than 25 companies to establish a broad knowledge on business opportunities for composite technologies in these two growing markets. From this study evolved the new workgroup in January 2018 with the aim to build a long-term cooperation platform for Composites in Buildings & Infrastructure.
